Has basically the same menu as 30 years ago. The facility needs a face lift, but the food is good and priced okay. Nothing on the menu over $13. The rib-eye pork is really good.

Our family has been dining here for close to 4 decades and we still think it's a great place to eat. We've enjoyed family reunions and church banquets here as well as family meals. The food and the service are always good and the prices can't be beat. We need more family restaurants like this one in our area.

I went there with a friend. I live in the area an went there as a kid. So I thought it would be a good place to have dinner. I was so wrong. They got her steak so severely under cooked 3 times she had to send it back. The manager began yelling we could hear him from half the dinning room away yell "they come in frozen," as if that has anything to do with cooking something medium well. We were so embarrassed and the bar was filthy.
The icing on the cake was when a health inspector came and barreled his way to the kitchen and more yelling occurred. I got the bar and my food was ok, but the service and the steak was horrible. Will never go back.

This is a family owned restaurant that has been open or 37 years! You don't see that often at all. That is something to be proud of and must tell you it is not an awful place to eat. I personally love the Steer House. The food is always wonderful and the staff is exceptional. They have had some people working there since they opened. They treat their employees great. The atmosphere and décor might not be the best and could use some updating. I see a problem with people writing "raings" and bashing this place..people don't understand that food cost has gone up a lot in the past 10 years so therefore they have to raise their prices. Also taxes have gone up to. If people in the community would support local business' maybe more places could stay open and maybe Pulaski could grow some more. At times you will find there to be a long line to eat at the Steer House of the evenings or even on Sundays, that tells you it is a good place to eat. Anyways enough with my ranting. I would recommend people to at least try this restaurant out one time. I don't think you will be disappointed. Remember to support your local business' :-)
