If you think this place is clean then you have never seen the kitchen! I had a seak peak and will never return. Plus I have observed on several occassions kitchen staff not washing hands as they should. No thanks! I do not prefer to get sick!

First of all, remember that this is a grill attached to a gas station. When my sweetie first took me for breakfast there, I was amused but cautious. Depending on who is in the kitchen the food is average to pretty good. French toast, patty melt, open face steak sandwich are some of my favorites! Be specific when ordering and always reiterate special requests. The wait staff is great-kind, friendly and hard working ladies that remember your face. We go on Sunday before or after church, and I will sometimes get takeout. Consistent , clean and friendly-what more could you ask from Surprising Suffolk.
I do wish they would get some homemade desserts so my sweetie would stop whining-truth be told-I would like it too!
