Rude service.. They added their own tip even though I did not allow it. Be careful

This was the first time we ate at this establishment. We were taking a risk, as the restaurant we were headed to had a 30 min. wait to be seated. This was a business lunch and we had our very important security vendor with us. There were five of us and lunch was outstanding. The restaurant is very clean and well set up. They are not too big but the tables were set-up so you are not able to listen to other guests conversions. I can’t say this enough, the food was outstanding. Everyone had a wonderful experience and we all will return again.

First off, I must admit that I read the reviews listed earlier on this site just before dining at Jorgio's.
When my wife and I arrived there was a short wait, about 15 minutes. Once seated, we ordered 2 glasses of sangria, it was very crisp and refreshing and I must whole heartedly recommend it. Soon after getting our drinks our 3rd guest arrived. Our waitress took much too long to notice him or come over to take his drink order. She took about 8-10 minutes to finally bring him his drink and it was only because I held up my drink and pointed at my friend. The restaurant only seats 16-20 patrons and they were not that busy, the waitress was just too young or unprofessional to know how to do her job without being watched like a hawk by the patrons. My friend and I ordered empanadas, one each. I also order a red sausage and then the skirt steak as my main dish. The main dish came with 2 sides, I ordered a salad and sautéed spinach. The empanadas came out having taken much too long for an appetizer and came out on one plate. We looked at the waitress wondering how she expected us to eat the 2 items without having our own plates and she quickly gave us two very small plates, almost too small for the empanadas though. The item was exquisitely created and I can't recommend that item enough, they were crispy and flaky but not oily, the inside was full of flavor, and the size was rather large. Soon after that item arrived she brought my sausage as well as a basket of bread and garlic dipping sauce. Now since I know none of us had ordered the bread, I assumed it must have been complimentary ...something to give to us so we wouldn't be going hungry during the long period it took the kitchen to cook the first round of food for us; instead, when she delivered it, none of us had any real interest in touching it because we were well into a lot of food with the main entrees coming soon after. By this time in the dinner, the three of us were just picking errors left and right from the front of the house. I was never offered water, but I did receive it upon request. The skirt steak was a great, I can't recommend it enough. By the time we were nearly done with our entrees, we realized that my friend and I never received our "side items" of sautéed spinach and salad. I mentioned this to the waitress and she looked at me like a "deer in head-lights." I told her to just make it to-go. I never did get my salad to-go however, she forgot that twice. My overall opinion of this establishment is that the chef has several very great ideas but can't seem to put out food fast enough. There was a family of 4 that came in after us. They ordered after us, but were served before us. They also paid and left the restaurant before us. I'm not sure if that was a kitchen issue or the fact that they had a different waitress. The sautéed spinach by the way was also very good, even as left-over's for the following night.
When we received the bill very little information was listed clearly. Our waitress didn't write down my side selections on the ticket (which was also the bill she handed us), I can see why the kitchen wouldn't have correctly served my salad or spinach. There was no listing of the tax, just the price per item and then a total that didn't display how much tax I was paying. I hope the management replaces that waitress because she absolutely does no justice to the fine products that the kitchen turns out. In terms of the food, I highly recommend eating here, but realize you will get something wrong with your order.
On a side note, while we were waiting for our friend to arrive, our waitress delivered food to a neighboring table. We overheard one of the patrons explain that she ordered the skirt steak sandwich and not the much larger and more expensive ($8 more in fact) skirt steak dinner. The waitress looked at her--again, like a "deer in head-lights." It took the customer's husband suggesting to the waitress what to do before she could manage the situation.
