Tucked away in Poquoson, this charming diner has enveloped me in a warm embrace of hospitality and delectable food ever since my first visit. Had your crab cake sandwich and onion rings. Crab cake was crunchy on the outside and mushy on the inside...not a good combination. Lose the crunch and replace it with more crab meat to firm it up. Onion rings were made with the outer rings of the onion...the part that should have been thrown away. They were very tough and I chewed the taste out of it and then had to spit out the onion because I could not chew up the onion because it was too tough. Didn't say anything to the waitress because she had nothing to do with how the meal was cooked but she did provide excellent service. If you are going to serve crab cake, do it right!
