The rustic, log cabin atmosphere combined with friendly and attentive staff made for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. The burgers, fries, and halibut were delicious, with generous portions and great flavor, while the outdoor patio provided a shaded, comfortable spot to unwind. Clean restrooms, unique decor, and cold beer added to the charm, making it a perfect stop after exploring nearby trails and attractions.

I live in Cougar and use to love the food. but it has gone down hill ... the only thing I have had that was good was a breakfast... my to go order on the chicken strips I have to return twice for being over cooked... went in for lunch and got something different from what I ordered but kept it and tried to eat it anyway, but it was so hot with spice I couldn't ... I tonight I ordered an 8 oz prime rib with mashed potatoes med well and mashed potatoes..with a salad. what I got was instant potatoes and 4oz of fat and 4 oz of well done meat... and they had the gall to charge $24. I will drive to Amboy or even Battleground before eating here again.
