Tried out this joint the other day, a bit of a trek but man, the grub was legit and the portions were no joke. The cashier lady may not be fluent in English, but we managed just fine, thanks to her trusty pointing stick! The wall pics of the dishes were a nice touch, and hey, a little patience goes a long way in this gem of a spot. The egg rolls and sweet & sour sauce are my go-to, always fresh and homemade - none of that neon package nonsense here. The house fried rice could use a bit more oomph, but the fresh veggies make up for it. I usually spice things up with some chili sauce, and let me tell ya, the husband and wife duo running the show work their tails off and it shows in the delicious food and warm vibes. My dad's been chowing down here since '04, and our fam keeps coming back for the mouthwatering yaki soba. The lady at the counter is an absolute sweetheart! P.S. If you're a spice fiend, splurging on the kimchi is totally worth it - they don't skimp on the heat. The teriyaki game here is next level, especially the chicken breast - perfectly cooked every time. Snagging a quick lunch of lemon chicken and chicken teriyaki is always a solid move, with a friendly staff to boot.
