My family went to Sakura this evening. I have to say the food was great but we were told the wait was 20 minutes but our experience totaled two hours. I could have traveled to Fujyama in Brookfield ordered and enjoyed a meal two or three times in two hours. Sakura is less than 2 miles from my home. With or without reservations I am not going to tolerate spending over $100 for a wait that more than doubles what I was told upon arrival. I understand Sakura is new and Menomonee Falls has been waiting a long time for a quality venue but unreasonable service will sink this ship. I trust this service issues will be corrected. Quality management would have compensated patrons that were over promised but under served. We will support Sakura as Sushi lovers from Menomonee Falls but only for so long. I still have to rate this as thumbs down.
