I am pleased that my wife and I found this place. We lived in Japan for nearly 4 years and while Sumo's sushi tastes about as close to Japan's sushi that we can find, Yamasa still offers good food at affordable prices.

The service isn't as friendly as most Japanese restaurants I've been to, either here or in Japan, but with the price of their sushi and the rest of their food, I really don't care how the service is, I'm not paying for a smiling face. The atmosphere at Yamasa is a bit boring, so we typically call our orders in and do carry-out.

Overall I'd say that if you like Japanese cuisine that is decent, and really like cheap prices, this place should be one of your first choices.

The food and service is wonderful!

(But mean people do not get good service anywhere!)

Good Food Horrible service, I would go some where else people are RUDE! I will never recommend this to anyone. VERY VERY VERY disappointed!
