The food is always fresh and so tasty; I can't get enough of the hibachi beef and volcano fried rice. Even with some inconsistencies, the service is friendly, and the quick turnaround keeps me coming back for more!

Let me explain the entire experience from walking in the door to what SHOULD be a get seated, orders taken from a table, and orders brought out at the same time on individual plates for each customer (or an empty plate handed out to each person for us to use). You order at the front with a limited menu, fill your cup, and find a seat. Food comes out one plate at a time (ex: here's a side of rice, here's your veggies, here's one plate of rolls (seaweed wrap was comoarible to a thick rubber band), etc. So we slowly start handing people their orders as other people sit there and wait and wait and wait. Eventually we ask the waiter about the other 2 people's rolls, he thinks there's still in the back being made but comes out later to tell us oh yeah the 1st plate that came out contained everybody's. Ummm... what?! Being we don't have our own empty plates no one would have thought this turned into family style. So the food wasn't that good especially paying over $50 then some of us are hungry because the 1st person didn't realize they were sharing their food we were not offered anything comparable they didn't offer to make any extra food etc. Horrible management, horrible customer service, and disgusting food down to the dry white rice. I will never recommend.

Called many times to order. . . busy signal. Went in to order assuming they were just really busy. Only 6 customers in the restaurant so asked if phone was down. Employees said they were just so busy they took the phone off the hook. I guess covid hasn't hurt them so I dont need to worry about supporting this small business.

Ordered a rice noodle dish. The noodles were broken into 1/2 x1/2 pieces like it was the broken pieces in the bottom of a bag. The sauce on the dish had no taste and very few vegetables. Extremely disappointed

Food was good in the beginning, had some off dishes as staff changed over. Staff is always nice, but they don't seem to communicate. I just waited 40 min for carry out that ended up being ready the entire time. It was placed behind the cashier and no one let him know. Refund was a nonevent, but I won't be returning.

OMG!! Ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll lived in the bay area an this would at least cost 20.00. The freshest I've ever had the the taste....... YUM. Really sad the store in Wichita's closed,Anything and everything is wonderful!!

Ambiance leaves something to be desired. It's a bit of a hole in the wall. However, the food is quite good. Sometimes there's a wait during the busy times.

I ordered the hibachi boy deluxe with salmon and filet mignon for take out and was disappointed to find that my vegetables consisted mostly of onions and were barely cooked at all, nearly raw. I was also upset that there was no mustard or "yum yum" sauce as was promised on the menu, which the steak desperately needed as it was considerably unseasoned. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the miso soup. Not even their fried rice was worth much, and frying rice should be simple enough. I will not be going back, and I would recommend Tokyo Japanese Cuisine off of West Street to anyone who wants authentic, delicious hibachi.

I love this place. Food is affordable and tasty. Today I wanted to call a carry out order in. I called twice and got a weird recording. I thought maybe the phones were down or they were closed. When I got to the restaurant I placed my order to go and noticed that the phone continued to ring but no one would answer it. They were busy at the time but this is not good service. There has to be a better way to do business than ignore customers.

Twice I have not brought home the food I ordered.
I have eaten at this place a few times and the food was good and just the way it should be.
The first time I ordered take out, my order portion was so small and there were no veggies at all.
This time my order was not only small with no veggies again, my salad was rotten. the lettuce was brown and soggy and it stunk!!
Now that Emperors Japanese Grill has opened just a few blocks south of this place I will never go to Hibachi boy again!!!!!!!

The food is always great.
The service is often slow.
I called in a take out order, was toll 20 minutes. I got there in 15, paid for the order and was told it'snot quite ready.
35 minutes later I got the food.
Sorry for the wait was all they said. I'm thinking that when I paid for it, it wasn't even started.
I would probably been more patient if I had been told then that it would be another 20 minutes.

Ordered the deluxe hibachi boy with filet mignon and chicken. It was excellent! Tender and juicy we will be back! My husband usually finds something wrong with everything and he could find nothing to complain about. Complete satisfaction!

Visiting friends, we're from out of town, this place was amazing!! Fresh veggies, flavorful food, great service! Cant wait to go visit again, will stop here again for sure! 5 stars in my book.
