I love this place! The staff is fast and friendly, and the food is good. I particularly like the seafood, but the daily specials are good too. It's just plain old good food like you'd get at home. There's no point in cooking anymore; I can get a main course, two sides, plus drink, cornbread, and tip for under $20, and plenty of things to choose from. Sure, it's a little worn but that's ok; it's clean. The food is good, the prices are good, the staff is great, and service is quick and friendly. I go at least once a week and it's more like going to a friend's house for a regular homecooked meal.

Great breakfast on my first visit! The Corned Beef Hash was amazing, the shredded potatoes were crisp and perfect, the eggs were just as perfect. Good people and amazing food.

If you're looking for fancy decor or quiet romantic dinners this is not the place. BUT if you're looking for good down home delicious food this is where you need to be. Some of the best shrimp I've ever tasted and the sides are not served out of a can. The fried chicken is at the top of my list. I have planned my trips to Wilmington to eat at Ruth's. Be sure you'received waited on by Amy. Courteous, always gets your order right and a pleasure to see. I would HIGHLY recommend Ruth's Kitchen.

This was our first time at Ruth's and the whole experience was nice. The waitresses were very friendly & helpful. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. And to top it off the price was great, we are a family of 5 and we ate good for $30.00. We will definitely be back. Thank you for your wonderful service.

This is a real restaurant with good blue plate food. While some of the lunch and dinner sides aren't outstanding, the rest is great, and a terrific bargain, especially fresh seafood. Staff is outstanding and friendly and Ruth's has a loyal customer base that keeps it busy

If you like down home cooking. This is a great place. Nothing fancy about the decor. Just good southern food and sweet tea. Also the chicken salad is amazing.

I have always eaten at this restaurant for years, today was a different experience. I ordered as usual I was the only customer in the restaurant, so you would think it would be a breeze right? NOT I ordered Fried Chicken, baby limas, fried squash, cornbread. Well, the fried squash was hard like it was cooked earlier and refried,It took me 10 minutes for the waitress to come..not to mention I had no tea for 10 minutes, then oh my some more people came in, and then she noticed after she brought their beverages, then she noticed me but this was not my waitress, don't know where she went it was 3pm Wednesday I returned the squash (after i finished my chicken) waiting for the waitress, and put up with the hard cornbread I left half of it..very disappointed but will continue to visit.

Every time I have been here the food has been amazing! I love the homey feel that the surroundings give. Servers have been great. I just wish they were open on Sundays!!

Best fried shrimp in town! Rachel is our favorite waitress and couldn't be nicer or kinder.The shorter lady is also sweet & friendly as is everyone else we've come in contact with.Now.....about the reson we came to this sight. To talk about the food and service. Not to say ugly things to people.That doesn't belong on this sight nor do you. Shame on you for using the internet in such a mean and spiteful way. How sad and immature.....

Meredith is not only the best waitress EVER, but she's too an amazing sister-in-law! No matter what Meredith, WE LOVE YOU and have grown very close to you. I've been eating there for a long time be for Donald owned it. He needs to get ride of some worker's there in one who likes to tell every body's buss.Even how she went on line and meet a guy. She went to the motel and stayed the night with him and told everyone that he had only one arm. He must have been a dog because she is so fat and has a lot of tattoos on her body. After hearing how she talked about everyone like she was the only per-fit one there. She talked about Meredith I couldn't,t believe it after someone told me they were cousins. That made me sick. I would not refer Any one to eat there as long as she worked there. sleeps with anything. Wake up owner see what is going on in your restaurant.

Well for starters, I usually wouldn't say this but I know I am not alone. My husband and I ate in there Monday for lunch and our server was very unpleasent, she acted as if we were an inconvience to her. She just acted as if she hated her job and I don't like feeling the way she made me feel. Luckly one of the younger serves checked un use refilled our drinks and just talked to us and made us more at ease. The pork chops are wonderful great country food. But fyi if you go in there don't sit with the short older lady she is very unpleasent and burnt out, they don't need that there. I'm suprised she still is there after seeing the way she treats everyone. Please doing something about her, you will and probably have already lost people.

The food is so good in this place but that's not why I keep coming back. Its the service, I try to get the same girl everytime. She knows what I want to drink, she knows what I'm going to order and she just takes great care of me. This young lady's smile and charm brightens my day everytime. So I just wanted to say thank you Rachel, and don't stop smiling you own it.
