I am normally optimistic, it’s ice cream how do you mess it up? I bought a single litre of ice cream from the fridge and it had birthday cake writer on the top. Excitedly drove home to share with my partner. We both tasted it, vanilla. I called back, the guy tasted it, both us agreed it was vanilla. The staff didn’t want me to grab another “birthday cake” perhaps it would have been to same, I agreed. They hand made me a new personalized hand beaten birthday cake ice cream, awesome. Not impressed to be in public twice now during a pandemic, but hey small wins, I’m getting ice cream. Had to drive back and replace it, only to return home with the thing tasting like vanilla, nothing about it screams “birthday cake”. The new 20’s is literally disappointing right down to the ice cream these days. Sad.
