Winnipeg and Sals have a special connection for me, even though I don't get to indulge there often. Whenever I return to the city after 25 years, one of my first stops is always at Sals. The combination of flavors in their burgers, from the fried onions to the cracker barrel cheese, never fails to bring a smile to my face. The idea of having a Sals location in the Vancouver lower mainland would truly make everything feel complete in the culinary world.
