My wife and I have eaten at 924 several times. The food is always good and the service impeccable. Today, Thursday July 27, we went there for dinner. To our dismay, one of the, I assume owners came out and told us they were closed, due to a cooling issue. We both expressed our disappointment as our mouths were set for the Luxe wings. The brother, understanding our disappointment, said “ I’ll go in and fix you some to go. After about 15 minutes he came out with two full meals , 6 wings, rice and gravy and delicious greens, all smoking hot. Not only was this above expectations, he didn’t charge us a cent! He only asked that we continue to support them This was totally unexpected and was extremely kind of him. We will continue to go there! If you haven’t you missing a full tummy!

Very poor service we came to this restaurant after being referred here and when we got there the host (a older black man) instantly had a very nasty attitude and didn’t want to sit my party of 5 at 5:54pm he doesn’t need to work at the front if he doesn’t know how to talk to customers with respect. There was another party there before us and he was sitting there talking about the previous customers to some servers and he didn’t greet us. With his attitude I will never be back !!

The food was very good, cooked well and seasoned just right!.my waitress was very helpful and professional.clean bathroom, clean tables and the atmosphere was peaceful and felt like home.it was crowded when I got there but we didn't wait but 15 to 20 minutes. The Manger came out and tried to make the ones that was waiting comfortable. Great place to Go!, must come again and bring my family and friends!.VERY SATISFIED!.

Went in today around brunch time got in at a good time frame the gentleman excorted us in and were seated in a good area the atmosphere was so plesent, my husband and I sat and talked the waitress was on point very pleasent and professional didnt wait long at all. We eat here on a regular base it is always an excellent experance...love the shrimp and grits...everything I"ve eaten there has been delicious!!! Come on out and support our black own buisness.

Went today and was very disappointed. An elderly staff member actually made my daughter’s open the bathroom door to accuse her of being a boy in the girl’s restroom. Just unacceptable.

My friend and I went there to have lunch. The food was excellent! The service was prompt and the waitress was courteous. We had a superb meal. We are thinking about going back for our monthly lunch meet up. Also, the prices are great for the huge portion sizes. Trust me, I am very particular about foods and I highly recommend District 924.
