This charming little diner offers fast and friendly service, along with a wonderful variety of country cooking that never disappoints. The cozy atmosphere reminds me of my grandma's kitchen, and the sweet tea was absolutely perfect!

I have been going again now that I have moved back to WS from Browns Summit. The restaurant is small by standards but they make it work like a well oiled machine. The food is fantastic, Gina and I look forward to our next chance to visit and enjoy the food and service!

Visiting from Maryland, I had to wait on my room at 9am; so I looked for breakfast spots and read GR reviews; I was impressed. The young (older) lady greeted us the guest before me and myself; calling three of them by name, nor did they have to place their order; SHE KNEW. Service was swift and food came in record time and tasted well. I will definitely return here before I leave for Maryland.

Great food and service. Monday-Friday they have a hot bar with usually at least 2 or 3 meats and several veggies to pick from. Good home cooked food. Breakfast is great as all the sandwiches they offer. Open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch. Can't go wrong eating here.

I was invited to eat here, by a friend in the area. I just moved from New Jersey, and I tell you it has been a great experience for me and my son. We will soon be regulars at Grandma Ruby's. They greeted us as we came in, and were all very attentive. I felt welcomed and felt at home, I thank the staff for being so generous and kind with us.

I am sorry for the reviews written before this as there is no way I would have walked in, said I am sorry and did nothing.This did not happen . I go from table to table greeting my customers and trying to make sure they are taken care of.I was away on Sunday getting supplies and when I returned greeted all the customers and this did not happen. We are a small restaurant and we cannot come to the door to greet people but do greet them with a good morning from wherever we may be in the restaurant. I have found that people who are mad at you , or for whatever reason may write bad reviews on here. No matter what you read on here about the restaurants please give them all a chance as it is a struggle to have your own business and make customers happy. Very small resturant. I came with my children for the first time in 19years. It hasnt changed. Nobody greats you at the door. Southern hospitality? I think not. The guy cleaning a table said he would have it ready for us and then gave it to another customer, probably because he knew them for years and then ignored us after that. The owner walked in the front door, looked at us standing there and said oh sorry then walked by and didnt even care to help us. For a sad little hole in the wall i sure wouldnt be treating customers like this. Dont waste your time with this place.

This place is not what I would call "good." The service is very bad and the waitress that we had was being to personal. We didn't get refills until we were almost done with our meal and waited on our check.
