Mayflower used to be my go-to for seafood for decades, and while the quality has dipped a bit-maybe due to new fryers or different ingredients-it's still pretty good overall. The vibe isn't as lively as it once was, but the food, especially the jumbo shrimp and hush puppies, remains tasty, and the staff like Charles really go above and beyond to make things right.

Mayflower has been a longstanding fixture in the seafood scene for five decades, offering a memorable dining experience that has seen some recent changes. The ambiance may not hold the same charm as it once did, but the seafood dishes remain satisfying and the service from staff like Charles is commendable.
