The Blue Moon is our favorite spot in town for delicious ice cream. It has a wonderful Northwoods atmosphere, great flavor options, and excellent service, making it a must-visit while on vacation in the area.

We stopped in there today while enjoying the Northwoods for The Tomahawk Fall Ride (MDA motorcycle rally for multiple charity groups). Our group was hungry for a snack and ice cream sounded like the way to go. I was the second of our group through the door and asked where the restroom was. I was told by the staff member that they had no bathrooms in their building and that there was a bathroom down the road at a park (memorial?). I turned around and shared that news with my hungry friends and we decided that if they can't afford bathrooms then we would have to wonder where else they cut corners to save a buck. We spoke with our wallets and ate elsewhere. They have excellent ice cream elsewhere also.
