Want to say that Chiips has some of the best fast food in Wisconsin Rapids. I know they do have their lobby open now (have since the beginning of July, not alot of people have seemed to notice though), & I had recently noticed a review mentioning they need a new speaker. I happened to be there the day the guy was installing it, so I KNOW for a fact they have a brand new one installed this past spring. I have noticed people don't always pull up as close to the speaker as they should to be heard or won't speak up when asked (especially since there's alot of heavy traffic on West Grand Ave-semis & trains, etc). Also, I've been there when people in line have made big orders without calling it in ahead of time, like what would be courteous (I'm talking $70-80 orders), so the poor workers have to deal with that, PLUS make the other smaller orders around that as well. Not to mention, if you've ever eaten inside, & seen how small the grill & fryers are; they only have so much room to work with, ESPECIALLY when they have those really large orders. So some of the nasty reviews I've read; I really think people need to give the workers there more credit, because they're doing the absolute best that they can & they get treated like dirt by customers.
