I stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening right when they opened and enjoyed sitting at the bar with a cold beer before heading to the dining room. The salad bar impressed me with its fresh and varied options, though my baked haddock was a bit dry and could have used more heat, while my boyfriend found his seafood platter just okay. Despite that, the friendly staff and cozy, rustic atmosphere made for a pleasant experience, and the reasonably priced menu offered some standout items like broasted chicken and prime rib that I'm eager to try next time.

The food was decent, but it's best to avoid visiting during peak hours. The staff was pleasant, the food was satisfactory, and the overall ambiance was pleasant.

We are always incredibly happy with the food and the service at Hilltop. The steaks come out on a sizzling platter, and are perfectly prepared. The soup and salad bar are incredible. The salad bar has just about anything you could want for a salad, and then there are the pasta salads that are made from scratch. The soup is homemade as well, If you like chicken gizzards, you have to go early, or you'll miss out. We've been going to Hilltop for over 25 years, and nothing else compares. We've been to every supper club in the area, and still find Hilltop to be the best.

Went once and that was the last time. Chicken was salty and the prime rib was more fat then meat. Had to wait in a crowded bar to get a table very uncomfortable.
