I ate there this morning and was greeted by a waitress with no personality, Who obviously did not want to be there. We waited 25 minutes For our breakfast and it was so cold that the butter would not even melt on the toast. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

I honestly wish there was a 0 star option. Lets see... we were a family of four going out to try Jim's restaurant because we heard from friends it would be awesome. Now I'm wondering what is wrong with some of my friends, haha. :)

Getting Seated: At the restaurant you seat yourself, we found a nice table. It took forever for the waitress to even come to us. When she did she took the orders for my husband and my drink, but walked away before I could even ask for something for my son. She did not greet us nicely or ask us how we were doing, she was not friendly at all. I asked her if they had any high chairs for children, she gave us one to use, it still had cheerios in the seat from the last child who used it. When my mello yellow got to the table it tasted flat.

Ordering food: When we were trying to order the waitress acted like she didn't have time for us. She kept walking off part way through the order.

Appetizers: We tried the jalapeno poppers and mozarella sticks. The poppers were disgusting, the outside tasted dry and horrible as if it had been deep fried in old grease. The mozarella sticks were cold and average, just like the ones you can buy in the freezer section at the store.

My son's food: My four-year-old son ordered the chicken strips, french fries, and onion rings (they don't permit half orders of the fries/onion rings and he wanted some of both). The chicken strips were average that you can buy in stores and cook in the oven. The french fries and onion rings came to the table barely - and I mean barely warm.

My husband and I both ordered the special: salad, garlic bread, baked potatoe, and 12 oz steak. The salad is just lettuce with a slice of tomato on a plate. I ordered bleu cheese dressing (I get on all my salads) and it tasted horrible, simply HORRIBLE. The garlic bread was super soggy as if it had been soaking in butter for a life time (although it was quite possibly the only piece of food that had a hint of flavor AT ALL for the entire meal). The baked potatoes were average potatoes that you could make at home. The steaks? Well now... the -ONLY- thing good about them was that they were soft, other than that they were compltely flavorless.

At the end the waitress asked us how we enjoyed our food and I flat out told her it was lousy and she just walked off.

I most definitely will not be promoting this restaurant to ANY of my friends, if you want great customer service and food go elsewhere!
