I found this amazing spot that really blew me away. The vibe was perfect, and the food was out of this world. You definitely have to check it out!

First off, I'd like to begin by saying that if I could leave this restaurant no stars whatsoever, I would certainly do so. We've just returned from a three hour, yes three hour, outing to the Pokegama Inn during our stay in Chetek. Earlier this morning we called in a reservation for thirteen people at 6:30 PM. We arrived promptly at 6:25, only to wait for our seating until 6:35. After being led to our table by the hostess, we waited for 15 minutes before our waitress finally came by and asked what drinks we would like. Another 25 minutes then went by before our drinks were brought and our orders were taken, which brought us to 45 minutes after our reservation. An hour later, at around 8:00 PM, our food was finally brought to the table.. well, some of it; three meals were forgotten entirely and several others were made incorrectly. The food, even considering that it had taken an hour and a half after our reservation to be finished, was nothing to brag about at all; dishes were cold, food wasn't cooked completely, and it was poorly made altogether. Our waitress could obviously tell that we were rather upset with our poor service by this point and said that she would request that the manager (who we found out was the owner) came to see us. This never happened, and he eventually just told her to buy us a round of drinks for our trouble, which we refused on account of wanting to leave. At this, he finally took it upon himself to come see us and hear what we had to say. His actions, or the lack thereof, and mannerisms were nothing short of unprofessional and only reaffirmed the views we had drawn about the restaurant by that point. After we had finished speaking, he left without saying a word and we were left waiting for our bills, which turned out to be another 15 minute wait. Even then, the bills were wrongly calculated and completely messed up with charges being duplicated and pulled from other parties. Throughout whole proceedings the owner never once came back and apologized or offered any discounts; rather, he walked right around us and avoided helping in any way. Our visit to the Pokegama Inn, which will certainly be our last, ended with two people leaving without even getting their food. This restaurant fell short of any expectations we had and is undoubtedly the worst experience we have ever encountered when eating out.
