Obviousely the owner put in that first review.
My experience was a bit different, but probably will be typical of someone who wants to frequent a bar that doesnt make them feel like they are in a hick movie.
The bouncers were rude and unfriendly. My sister and I were greeted by them (two men) once we entered. One crossing his arms and frowning at us~because my sister was waiting in the parking lot for me to show up and she must have looked suspicious waiting by her car! Afterword walked up to the bar (5 feet away) after showing id and immediately got id d again by a waitress who looked like she would rather be somewhere else if she had to serve someone who wasnt a local.
They except cash only, and the dj that night was playing so loud you could barely talk to the person next to you. Not to mention the downstairs area itself is very small so with a dj playing it was rather ridiculous.
I rated it one star because the bar was kept and clean and at least the bartender didn t wear 8 pounds of makeup to hide her age.
We will make sure our friends and family don t accidentally happen on a place like this.
