My husband and I had lunch at The Sundance Cafe
in late June, and were so very pleased with our
lunch. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was the best I had ever eaten anywhere. The meat was deliciously juicy and tasty and served on a soft French roll, with just enough mayonnaise to bring out the savory flavors. My husband had a BLT...sounds boring BUT it was fantastic! The thick cut honey cured bacon was the best, the lettuce was crisp, and the tomato was sweet and had an "heirloom' quality. Again, it was served on a soft and lovely French roll. Our food at The Sundance Cafe was the best lunch of our 14 day trip throughout Wyoming. We would highly recommend this establishment to anyone passing through Dubois, Wyoming. We ate on the outside deck listening to the soothing sound of Horse Creek. Enjoy!

found the cutest little hidden cafe decided to give it a try, So glad we did! food was very good, the reuben I had tasted very fresh and the service was great, iced tea never emptied and a smile on everyones faces!

Total disappointment. Tough steak, wilted salad and dirty deck.
12/08/2008 - Sundance Cafe, Dubois, WY
This is by far the best restaurant in Dubois. It is a "white tablecloth" restaurant without the white tablecloths!!! In other words, it is a friendly, comfortable place to go in all your finery or your jeans. The upscale log cabin building just sets the stage for THE FOOD.
The food is creatively prepared, with unusual pairing of spices and ingredients. The duck is my personal favorite, however it may be prepared that particular night. My next favorite is the rack of lamb. The food is never boring. Presentation is beautiful. And in the warmer months, the sounds of the rippling creek accompanies your dinner while dining on the outdoor deck. So romantic!!
But don't miss lunch at the Sundance. Homemade soups are divine as are all the various salads and sandwiches. My favorite is the BLT with Red Pepper Mayonnaise.
