08/04/2010 - C.R. Zimmer
My nostalgia tour of the place I grew up, leaving upon graduating from Poland High in 1958, had to include 2 stops. The Elmton in Struthers for pizza and the Boulevard Tavern for spaghetti and meatballs. This was a regular routine for my family and I right up until I left in '58. Fifty-two years later I return and the meal was just as i remembered it, even to the Italian dressing on the salad. I joked with Angie's son, now the owner, "how come the meal isn't still $1.50 like the last time?" It's $8.50 now! With the massive changes to the area, it was nice to feel and taste a little of the good old days.
