Love this place.
Every meal I have ordered has been fantastic. Catfish plate, hamburger steak plate, taco salad, brisket, lemon pepper wings, BBQ and salads all were great. Side dishes were delicious too.

We stopped by there today. I ordered the redneck Reuben and fries. First bite was mmm wow, the meat was fall off the bone tender and the combination of white BBQ sauce , cheese, and onion straws was amazing. The fries were delicious and I'm very picky on my fries. Also, the service was very good.

Used to be really good, but seems like they have hired too many questionable characters (known dopeheads)... The food quality has gone way downhill over the past couple of years... Last time my wife and I ate there I swore I would never go back... I would have only given 1 star, but there are a couple of really nice waitresses there... Probably a management issue...

I have read all of the reviews and all I can say is I don't know where all these people were eating at but it's not the gridiron that I went to bc this was the worst service and food I have ever had or even heard about best thing is to not go and waste your time and money

I absolutely love the gridiron. I go there often and love it every time. I am always greeted with a smile. Some time the food is a little slow coming out of the kitchen but their crowd varies from day to day so that is expected. The white BBQ is outstanding I eat it on everything if they would serve it to me as a beverage I would drink it. Katie waits on us frequently and she always remembers our drink order as well as our preferences in menu items. I've seem those girls take a beating from grumpy customers and come out smiling. Wonderful restaurant!!!

Thus place has gone down the drain. Fries were burned an greasy,complained an was brought a new serving that was also burned! Served salad with cucumbers that were bad in spots and salads are mostly just lettuce. Plus those terribly torn dirty table covers on some of the tables! Why?? Looks dirty an ours was. Won't go back there!

Went into the hole last night, had to wait for over an hour and half for our food, when you walked in the door you could smell the bath room, it smelled like a Vets office. Went to wash my hands, no soap, no towels, smelled like death. Honestly just like a Vets office which you could smell all through the place. Then when we got to place our order it was over an hour and half before food arrived. Orders screwed up, food cold, some food not even there. We try to make the best of it and eat and go on our way, well when we get our ticket, they have a 18% gratuity added to it, which was $5.49. Talked with the supposed little manager acting girl that didnt know what to say other than you will pay it pretty much. That has ruined my experience there and will NEVER go back and will tell every one I Know about how terrible the service and food was!! That is not the first time service and food has been that bad. My company likes for us to go there and eat, I will make sure that gets moved to Gadsden or Rome now instead of an establishment that wants to be kept nasty and poor service!! I will NEVER go back in there again!!

If you haven't tried the Bbq your missing out. They have a white bbq sause that really sets the flavor of the meat on end. My budies and I ride bikes and love to eat. We make this trip often and its an easy 80 mile round trip. Weather you like chicken pork or my favorite the brisket its worth the trip. R.L.

Great wings, and great burgers! you get your monets worth , the service is so so but the food is GREAT!
