Ever since this restaurant opened, it has been viewed with envy and reviewed with a lot of criticism by others, especially those who know and favor the older restaurants on the island..As far as the owners are concerned they always try to point out that this is a family-owned business, they work all day baking and cooking with the freshest ingredients and have kept their prices the same since they opened, their portions are enormous and the food is amazing! Why wouldn't it be when everything is made to order and they use only fresh and never frozen or processed? The guests always leave satisfied and well fed! They offer an ALL U CAN EAT daily lunch buffet with mouth watering entrees, endless salad bar and sodas for only $10! Do you consider that a rip-off? Their Jumbo sized pizza is 18-20 inches wide and is piled high with fresh meats and veggies! Their Pastas are loaded with shrimp, chicken or what ever have you and their sauces are made right then and there with real heavy cream, pine nuts and basil pesto or real tomato marinara! Wake up and appreciate what is offered to you and dont go around spreading rumors to take away business from these hard working sincere restaurateurs!

Bad food, outrageous prices, bad service. Been here about four or five occasions. Each time I was upset about something.

On a few of these times my roommate and I ordered subs. We arrived to find one was cooked and the other they forgot to make. So we got to sit there fifteen minutes each time and wait. This happened every single time we ordered food.

The prices are insane. Expect to pay near 40 bucks for a large pizza with a few toppings. I don't care if we are on an island, that is a total ripoff! Do not eat here.

At last great taste of homemade Italian food! Huge portions, each entree enough for two! Pizza is the best you've had in years! From meatballs to veal scallopini and burgers to sizzlin' steak platters this trattoria has something for everyone !

If you are in Kodiak you gotta go to Angelo's. The buffet is an awesome deal at $10 and the food is amazing. I'm surprised at how few people I see in the restarurants in Kodiak?
