One out of the two meals we consumed was very good. The other was a ravioli dish. It boasted of these wonderful ingredients and proceeded to bring out plain ravioli in tomato sauce. Very blah, something easily made at home. The wanted, although friendly, was not attentive; we were not visited during our meal to ask if everything was to our liking or to bring us more water. Would we go there again, hmmm, we would probably give it one more try but would not be excited as we were to walk through their front door.

For the past several years, my daughters and I have been going to Mulino's for dinner, having always enjoyed the meals we got there. Well, last night was my daughter's birthday, so we went there as usual and had the worst meal ever. I got the chicken marsala and the thin chicken cutlet was so tough that I could hardly cut it, even though I should have been able to slice it with a fork. Then my daughter got the salmon and found it so tasteless, that she had to keep adding pepper and salt, something she'd NEVER had to do before. Finally, my daughter, whose birthday it was, ordered a dish, whose name I am unfortunately unfamiliar with, although it is made with fettucini, sausage and chicken (I think) and possibly mushrooms as well. In the past this dish was always her favorite and she would get a huge plateful. Last night's entry, however, was runny, unlike the creamy way it was in the past, plus she only got about half the sized portion she'd gotten in the past. All in all, it was a pretty unpleasant experience, especially in light of the fact that it was supposed to be a nice dinner for my daughter's birthday, and we have already decided that we will never go back there again, as we have no desire to have a repeat performance of this disappointing meal. We heard that there is a new owner there. Too bad he had to spoil what used to be a such a nice dining experience for us.

The food is so wonderful and the service is great. Worth the time to go there for dinner.

A nice, romantic dinner for two on the balcony to celebrate 35 years of marriage. The service was excellent with a twist of down-to-earth fun. Fresh tomatoes with mozzarella, basil and olive oil was just right for an appitizer. Dinner was delicious, shells (perfectly cooked), sweet sausage, spinach and marinara. I'd eaten as much as I could and wanted the rest packed up to take home, yet I kept eating! Dessert and coffee topped off the meal. Eventually, I took home what was left of my dinnger, and warmed it for lunch the next day. Just as good as the night before (without the atmosphere).

THE best Italian food! Fresh Maine mussels steamed in lemon with parmigan. Canollis to DIE for, REAL cheesecake!
