Reviews of Garcia's Cantina & Cafe

Garcia's is great. We have been going there since we moved here in the 1980's. Love going. It has consistently good Mex-Am food, interesting decor, friendly workers (and Owner!). Prices have remained great over the years. Chips & salsa are terrific and generous (and free). I don't know who that other guy was complaining about (definitely not the owner). I recommend Garcia's to anyone who wants to know if there is anyplace good to eat in Eagle River.

This is hands down the most unfriendly atmosphere for families that I've encountered in a long time. Very unprofessional in the use of profane language in front of children. There is no excuse for the words that came from a man that identified himself as the !@&$!@ owner. My family will never frequent this place again and I'm passing all information on the incident word of mouth to hopefully save some other children from the encounter ours had.
** If you don't have kids, you shouldn't eat here because the food just isn't good. Make the drive to Anchorage or try Jalapenos. They have good flavor!! :) ****
After making a lunchtime purchase of 2 house fried rice, sesame chicken and 2 spicy sauce delivered to my work like we usually do atleast twice a week...
Cafe' Loco Espresso
Always SUPER friendly no matter Who's working...
The sampled menu items mediocre at best. Lamb skewers consist of dry and rubbery mystery meat balls served on a bed of tired, flavorless, mongrel rice...
Pho & Grill
$3.00 for ketchup/mustard/mayo packets to go with your burger!!!!!
Not worth the price. Pretzels with no salt...$4.00...side of cheese....$1.00...
Place is amazing, great food, great service...
