It is always a pleasure to dine at this jewel in the desert. Menu is well rounded and I've never had anything but superb flavored meals. Items are made to order and fresh!!! Don't go thinking you are having a quick meal. It is intended to give you a relaxing environment. Service is wonderful, they are very attentive. The wine selection is great (I don't know wines but have loved all that have been chosen for us). <br />
This is true French cuisine. It is very nicely decorated and very very clean.<br />

Everything on the menu is fantastic, however a few items stand out as being simply amazing: the filet mignon, poulet au pesto, beouf stroganoff, the chocolate mousse, and the voulette de tomates are just a few. The wine is great as well. I've seen a few comments regarding the service. It is not your stereotypical, overly intrusive, and insincere service which is commonly seen in your chain restaurants where their goal is to get you in and out as fast as possible. It is representative of dining in Europe where there is a difference between dining and eating. One of the best restaurants I have dined in. Ridgecrest is truly blessed to have Mon Reve despite the unrefined palette of the population.
