My friend, an islander, and I stopped at Lovin Oven and ordered two small pizza(s): 1 pepperoni and cheese, 1 Hawaiian...to go. When I opened the box, I got kinda nervous: it did not look like pepperoni and cheese. To be brief: it was the worst pizza I've ever eaten (partially eaten!), George found his to be awful, as well. We're not newcomers to this food. Even mediocre by-the-slice in downtown Vancouver or Montreal, etc. does not get made as wrong as Lovin Oven's. Beware - 'cause it's "done with care and the best ingredients" ...well, these pizzas were gross. The rating box does not allow for %&(*+#@awful. Mike Tropp

I went to to Lovin Oven to order lunch for pickup. The lady at the front was very friendly at this point. However, despite me specifically asking for no mayo on my sandwich, and this lady writing on the order slip "no mayo," the chef still loaded it with mayo! I wasn't able to bring it back because I had gotten back to work before I opened up the box. I couldn't eat it because even the shrimp was coated with the stuff. To make matters worse, when I went to pick it up, the staff didn't even acknowledge I was there. She just brought the sandwich out (10 minutes late), and that was it. No hello, goodbye, smile, or anything. Not to mention, the potato salad was not very good. I took one bite and had to throw it out. And no, I'm not a picky eater. I just like good food. The bacon on the sandwich was the saving grace, I guess.

Writer below obviously one of the owners. Terrible customer service. Whack-job owner needs a psych evaluation, and a course or two on customer service and business management.

This other Review from that lady is deff bias by a picky opinion everyone I talked to on the island loves there pizza and each pizza I've had as well as a few on my employees have had perfect pizzas exactly as they were requested one of the best crusts I've ever had deff recommend as best pizza for on quadra Cortes or Campbell river
But if your some picky rich city folk I suggest dominoes in campbell for a generic pizza

I got a pizza to go, got home, crust was burnt. Tried a slice, tasted burnt. Called to tell them and they said I had to bring it in, so I did. Three people came to the counter and told me that it was "perfect" and I obviously don't know what a good pizza looks like. If you eat it and it tastes burnt then its burnt!! And when a customer is calmly complaining there is no need to have 2 staff and the owner come at me like I'm being out of control.
Not to mention in the process of showing me how perfectly it was cooked, all 3 touched every part of my pizza so I couldn't even bring it home and cut away the burn. what a waste of $30!
I have never had such rude customer service. Not going back any time soon!!!
