Pete's has been here forever on Avenue X. It's that old fashioned brooklyn diner kind of restaurant. You can get anything, the menu is huge ,and the food is good. I love their challah french toast (it's delicious)with bacon on the side, their Greek salads are great(owners are Greek I think), nice scrambled eggs with homefries and bacon and buttered wholewheat toast, good sandwiches,milkshakes, burgers, homemade muffins(I get mine toasted dark with extra butter),a toasted bagel with cream cheese and lox. They serve everything.Delivery is fast,nice delivery guys, the place packs it up nice for you and include all the utensils, condiments, you don't even ahve to ask. With so few diners and old fashioned American restaurants around anymore, i'm grateful Pete's is still here and is still the same,and they just add more items to the menu when they become popular, like quesquidillas, etc.
