I went to the drive thru and i waited 10 minutes in the scorching sun. The cook could see me but no one came to the window. There were only two cars in the restaurant at that time? How sad who knows what the employees are doing? Obviously they are not paying attention too the drive thru.

Went to the new Big Daddys on Central Boulevard today for the first time...staff was very friendly and they were very attentive to our needs. The food took about 15 minutes to come out but then again it was during the lunch crowd. Ordered the messy burger and it was messy but good...subbed the fries for onion rings (a bit soft/no crunch) food altogether was a bit overpriced (bit over $11). The worst was the greasy slippery floor all the way to the restrooms...almost fell a few times, very dangerous. The door to the men's restroom hit me in the face because it doesn't open right and it jams halfway. It's okay but not really worth a second visit.

Drive thru was slow but worth the wait. Better than Carl Jr's and Five Brothers burgers!

loved the waiting service, amazing pastries and desserts, I wonder if they're made fresh.

lousy service and rude, food takes too long to come out even if you phone in the order at the boca chica location.. prices are getting higher as well... i don't recommend eating here

I've eaten in the price location for breakfast the food was great and so was the service. I highly recommend the breakfast tacos at the price location

Today I ate at the new location by the expressway again serves was Excellent!!! The hostess was quick to greet us and seat us down. The burgers were quick and really good. I highly recommend the "what a mess burger" it has a little bit of everything; bacon, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms and avocado. Our friend had the "Texas burger"
also great onion rings, BBQ sauce, jalapenos, cheddar cheese. My husband had the American enchiladas he definitely wouldn't recommend them. Stick to the burgers is their specialty and there great. The fries mushrooms for appetizers are awesome if is a big group at least more then 3 persons we order them and it was too many too finish 3 of us.

This place has lousy service. I've gone 4 times already thinking that maybe the first 3 times was because they were expanding and training but no more. It's a matter of poor management. A lot of staff but all these kids are just standing around laughing and talking. Long wait for food just makes it worse. I'll never go back again.

This restaurant serves really good food, real homemade stuff, not frozen pre-packaged garbage like most restaurants do. They have mostly friendly staff, but there are a couple waiters/waitresses that need to get their act together. While the service has been lacking at times, we have had a few really good experiences with the right servers attendirng our table. Overall, it's probably my favorite place to eat in Brownsville, which isn't saying too much, because I consider Brownsville's restaurant quality to be very low. Maybe it's because I grew up in Houston, where I would consider the restaurant quality to be very high. Overall, in my opinion, this is about as good as it gets in Brownsville, unfortunately, but I would still recommend it to locals along with anyone traveling.

I VISITED THERE NEW LOCATION AS WELL. IVE BEEN THERE 2-3 TIMES. AT FIRST THERE SERVICE WASNT GOOD AT ALL. AND THERE FOOD WAS TAKING LONG TO COME OUT. THIS LAST TIME I WENT IT WAS A SATURDAY NIGHT. I COULD TELL THEY HAD SEVERAL PARTY'S GOING ON. THE SERVICE STILL ISNT AS GOOD AS IT SHOULD BE. BUT THE FOOD IS GOOD. AND IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG. SO I WILL RETURN AS LONG AS IT KEEPS GETTING BETTER.

They have a new location at 1800 N Expressway 83 still in Brownsville, Tx.
I had a horrible experience at this location. My spouse and I waited for about 1 hour and 30 minutes for two burger meals that we never received. Our waiter didn't even offer to refill our drinks or check on us during the entire time we were waiting, to top it off there were people who got there after us and who received their orders first. About an hour in we asked someone about the status of our order and he hastily took our order again. 30 minutes later we decided enough was enough and got up and asked to speak with the manager. Only the assistant manager was there, who told us that they also had to do catering and that admitted that not all the staff was adequately trained. We will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone that is unless you want to wait forever and get bad service.
