My first time at Papa Jakes, we were freezing sitting by the windows. There was literally only one other couple in the restaurant. Yet we waited FOREVER for our food. The waitress never brought our fries, and she disappeared. I finally asked the bartender for our fries and they still took forever brining them. We were finished with our food by the time we got them. Today, I decided to give the place a second chance and try again. Our experience was even worse than the first! Waited almost an hour, yet only one other table and a few people at the bar. My chicken salad came with whole pieces of chicken and huge chunks of lettuce and a plate so small I couldn't even begin to eat it. At that point I was so sick of waiting for my food I had the waitress take the salad back, cut up the lettuce and chicken, and box it for me. My boyfriends chicken was tasteless, and the salt potatoes were saltless. He boxed his and we left. I will never return to this place.
