I LOVE this place! I live in another state, but I schedule my trips home around Mack's hours. They have the best burgers, onion rings, and shakes in Columbia and the taste of their food hasn't changed in all the years I've been going there. The atmosphere is really down home and laid back and the employees seem as if they've never met a stranger. Don't be fooled by the restaurant's appearance from the outside. I've been going there since I was a little kid (30 yrs) and there is a reason why they are still around! Expect a line during lunch time, but it moves quickly! Enjoy!

Friendly staff, willing to make lunch menu items for breakfast (a chicken biscuit, instead of a ham one, in my case!). The restaurant itself is on the small side, but it's usually not very crowded. Cheap, good, and filling, and soda refills are free. :) Nothing overly fancy, but for what it is, it's a good buy, and a good meal!<br />

One quirk--> It's cash or check only, so no credit cards!
