Still my favorite Chinese delivery place in Bethesda. The dumplings and flat noodles are the best in town.

To be fair I have had lunch at Asian Cafe at least twice a week over the past 2 years -- The food has always been tasty, colorful and hot --- In today's case the food was all of those things but with one alarming and unexpected ingredient (A SPIRAL PIECE OF THIN METAL) --- That's right I was enjoying my meal and suddenly looked down and noticed a piece of metal in my food --- First I'd like to say THANK GOD I didn't swallow it, because it would have been a disaster --- Of course I took the food back and asked for a refund --- They apologized and then accidentally charged my card (1) more time without knowing how to properly execute a refund on a standard credit card machine --- I was tempted to call the POLICE, but I don't like DRAMA --- Needless to say I was done and most likely will never eat there again.

Delicious food and fast service.
Most importantly, delicious food.
They serve brown rice and other healthy options. Not your topical chinese or thai take out

They actually have two segments to their restaurant - the Chinese and the Thai. I order regularly from their Thai menu (almost on a weekly basis).
It is a little difficult to rate Thai Cafe (that's what they call their Thai segment) simply because they are such a paradox to me in terms of food. The goods are great; the not so goods are really not worth mentioning.
Regardless, those "good" stuff always have me wanting more. Their Tom Yum is currently THE BEST that I've had in this area, and I've had many, even from the famous, the highly rated, the expensive... you get the drift.
Whenever I have a cold I crave their Ka Prow - strong, potent, flavourful. I always ask them to kick the spice up a notch and to make it extra spicy. When I need my ginger boost I order the Pad King. The blend of ginger into all the other stuff in there is just right - strong hint of it, but complementary to the entire ensemble instead of overpowering the dish. When I need something a little more "bland" (bland is relative - I am Asian so my idea of bland is probably not equivalent to yours) I'd go with the Chicken with Vegetables. It is low on challenging your senses, but flavourful enough to appease your taste buds.
Then there is the Keemao Gaisub, an all time favourite. And of course the Lad Na, the Pad Thai, and their array of fried rice. The Teriyaki Chicken with Rice which is especially worth mentioning if you order it for lunch.
I wouldn't order their curry, but that is just me. My own bias dictates that no curry would be better than Malaysian curry anyway. Some of their dishes are uncommonly sweet for my taste, and some just tastes plain weird to me.
On the whole, they have many "greats" and to me they outweigh the not so goods. I just order what I want. The prices for lunch are a steal. Try them and you can then decide if you're going to love them or hate them.

I have been to several asian restaurants and this one is by far the best. I have had numerous items on the menu and all are fantastic.
