I have been going here for years, and it is the best chicken I have ever had.<br />
Way better than that other place.<br />
Not going to turn this into a fighting blog, but, If anyone says different about this place or the owner, they are liars. Some people need to grow up.<br />
The owner has always greater me with a smile.<br />

I'm guessing that the previous reviewer had a beef(no pun) with someone at this place, or possibly caught him on a bad day. I've ordered there over the years and have always been treated with respect. The food is always good and the prices reasonable. What doesn't make sense in his comments is "go to Kroger.. they sell chicken by the piece" So does The Chicken Coop! If he wanted a special order, he could have ordered exactly what he wanted via their menu: 2 Breast Dinner $7.50 or Chicken Breast $2.25 each. And of course you can get any Side Orders as they are all separately listed and priced. So something stinks here and I don't think it's the Broasted Chicken!!

I live only a few blocks from there and have never been there until last week. I wanted to pick up a chicken dinner for the family. As i went to start my order i told the older guy you said he was the owner that i would like to order a family meal bucket. My concern was that i do not like thighs at all and i will pay whatever the upgrade is for breast. His response was "do u wanna buy the place then you can make your own menu, If you want to have a special order then go to KROGER, they sell chciken by the piece". I asked him if he was serious and he said i have been here for 12 years...
