Horrible food and after seeing on the news what the owners did to another area restaurant, i hope they shut them down.. they spent the night in jail and have attempted murder charges against them!! They beat up an owner to the restaurant down the street because they were competition!! go to fox news or channel 7 wxyz aired on may 2nd!!! both brothers beat this kind family man trying to make an honest living.. shame on them for what they have done to their families.. ruined their lives over jealousy!! if ur food and service were up to par like they used to be, you would have business.. total MORONS!!!

I bought my mother a $50 gift card from Tirami Su's Metroparkway location, which went out of business before Mom could use it. Even though the Schoenherr location was a half hour drive for us,my mother and I went just to use the card. After our lunch an employee- turns out it was Michelle the manager- scanned the gift card and told us it was only good for $10 and was just a promo card they gave away if you spent a certain amount. I told them I had the reciept for a $50 gift card and would be back to clear things up. She said she would take care of it when I returned. I paid for the lunch since it wasn't my mother's fault. It took me a month to make it back to the out of way location for me, but I brought along the defective card, the original receipt for a $50 card and my receipt for the lunch my mother and I had. The manager, Michelle, wasn't there but the bartender scanned the card again and confirmed that it was only $10. I showed him the receipt for the gift card which said $50. I pointed out that the number listed on the gift card reciept matched the number on the (defective) gift card and he said perhaps they would give me a new gift card for $50. I thought about it a second and decided I had already driven out of my way twice and spent $45.07 plus the original $50, and that it wasn't fair to ask me to come back again. He very nicely got Michelle, the manager, on the phone. First she told me that she would not honor the gift card beyond $10. I asked her why and she said that first of all they weren't able to scan a card from the Metroparkway location. Obviously this wasn't true since she had done it the first time and her bartender had just scanned the card again this time. I told her this and I don't think she appreciated getting caught in an untruth. I tried to reason with her that they had already gotten their money from me twice and it didn't seem fair. She relented and said the most she could do is give me a $25 card. Now that might seem like a concession except in order to use it without spending even more I would have to dine alone. You can't feed two people on $25. We would obviously have to come back out of our way and spend extra to use it. I told her this and she said, "How do I know you didn't already use the card for $40?" For exactly $40?! Really?! She's the one that told me it was a $10 promo card the first time and that the gift card looked differently than the promo card. It isn't the Schoehnerr location's fault that the Metroparkway location made a mistake when they gave us the wrong card, but they owned both locations! I asked her if she really thought that I drove all the way back and forth to their restaurant twice (hour long commute), paid for a lunch, just in the hopes of scamming them out of $40? She insisted that she had no way of knowing that. What I didn't say to her was that when I did use to live in Shelby Township my family and I ate there several times and the food was delicious. When I was back again with my mom it was pretty poor in comparison. Overcooked fish, stale bread basket, overcooked veggies, etc. And to be polite about it, Michelle was what I will call 'somber' when she waited on us that time. I really had no intentions of insulting anyone, just wanted my money back for the gift card that we couldn't use. I didn't accept her $25 gift card and told her I would just let everyone know that their solution to a mistake they made was to accuse me of being a liar and a crook.
