If you like cigarette smoke and muddy, gritty oysters with slimy shells, this is the place for you. Shrimp cocktail smelled like sewage. Steamed oysters were cold and sub-par. My daughter said “Well, at least they can’t mess up a grilled cheese.” They did. Served burnt and cold. It was basically terrible.

My family and I (6 adults and a 3 year old) ate here on Thursday, Oct 15 as a last minute option while we were hurriedly trying to find a restaurant in the area that had a tv to pick up the Auburn game! Our server was so sweet and great with the 3 year old! Our food was excellent, we got a burger, blackened grouper dinner, steamed combination platter split by my fiancé and I, peel n eat shrimp, and the AYCE snow crab legs. Our wait time on the food was a little long but we didn't mind it because it was open mic night and those guys were great!! We made friends with some FSU fans and really enjoyed this place. My kind of dive bar!

How can a restaurant this near the ocean possibly screw up steamed shrimp? Only 5 customers in the place, all just having drinks, yet it took 25 minutes to get our food. Now we know the reason. Overlooked to the point of being tough to chew, absolutely no taste, tasted and looked freezer-burned, even had a hard time peeling them. The cocktail sauce, which was tasteless, was almost frozen. Cheese grits were just grits with a few pieces of shredded cheese on top. We came home and ate a bowl of cereal. Obviously the "cook" was having a bad night.
