used to go there, until they charged 5.00 for a can of domestic beer. ( coors )

An online menu stated 10 oz. Grouper sandwich. If that's true mine lost about 5-6 oz. between the kitchen and table. 25$ for a piece of Grouper not much bigger than a good thick cut piece of bacon. Could not even taste it for the HUGE bun. Onion rings were tasty. Fried crispy and not greasy. Waitress didn't mentiin the $1.50 upcharge when she suggedted them though. Could have had a much better meal for the price at several places I know of. Not again.

What started as a pleasant evening at sunset with my wife turned into the worst dining experience in my life. My wife and I arrived for dinner. Hostess explained 30 minute wait for a table which was fine. Went to the bar where we were greeted with a sign which read paraphrasing " If you are not going to tip appropriately please leave so we can serve are great customers." This should have been my 1st sign of things to come. Management should just add a 20% gratuity to the bill and call it a day. Remember gratuity is based off the service you receive. After receiving our drinks and appropriately tipping the bartender we went and sat in the Tikki hut waiting for our turn. Hostess had 3 parties waiting. We were sat in the Tikki hut with the 2 beers we had already purchased. We waited 10-15 minutes for waitress. She was busy which was fine because we already had drinks and menus. Hostess came over twice to ask if we had been served. "No worries; we are fine." Waitress arrived and took our orders. We ordered 2 more beers which came out just before our meals. 1st order of drinks ordered. However beer we ordered was not out of stock. "No problem bring us cans." Waited awhile and 2 cans arrived. Waitress came back twice as we waited longer than usual for our food. No problem it was sunset; we were enjoying our drinks and they were busy. Waitress came over told us we were 1 ticket away from our food being ready. Runner brought food over and runner said they only had 1 side of coleslaw left. No problem I gave it to my wife. Continuing to extend empathy and understanding. Waitress asked if we would like another drink. We said, "Sure." We were finishing up our meals and waitress came over a while later and said, "OH your drinks." She ran off, coming back shortly after with 2 drinks. 2nd order of drinks ordered. She came back awhile later asked if we would like dessert, we passed and she brought the bill. I immediately noticed the charge for 3 drink rounds and we only received 2. I thought "Well she must of charged us for the 1st 2 drinks we purchased as the bar." She came over; I politely tried to explain the situation and she became angry. She said I was wrong and we had purchased 3 rounds. The more I tried to explain the angrier she got. I said I would just pay the bill but she stormed off. She brought a bill back corrected with the times she had ordered the rounds. She may have ordered them but we never received 3 rounds only 2. Remember the long period of time that passed while we ate not receiving the round we ordered. She yelled, "Your wrong and I am right" and stormed off again. After discussing with my wife I went to the bar with payment including a 20% gratuity. I think the sign from earlier was still on my mind. I asked for management and the bartender asked if she could help. I tried to explain calmly the situation; that we ate there often year round and had never had a problem. This was all over $8.00. Bartender never responded as the waitress came over and started with me all over. Now at this point it was becoming heated. Honestly I have now had enough. I am now arguing with the waitress and hostess who proceeds to tell me to "Get the Fu** out!" I am 58 yrs old and have been in the restaurant business for 35 yrs and have never experienced anything like this. It was embarrassing; humiliating and honestly should have never happened. It is sad because my wife and I enjoy going there on Sundays for football games and hearing bands on the weekends. Not sure if the 2 women were having a bad night but the way they treated my wife and myself was inexcusable.

Not a mask in the place!!My Grouper was so greasy I had to ring it out before eating it along with the Dollar General Krinkle cut fries. Had a slice of $8 key lime pie to get the taste out of my mouth.but on a brighter note my wife said the bartender/waiter was great and had beautiful eyes..he was good!! But food well below average for the price.

We have been to Snook's about 4 times now. Went on a friend's recommendation. We are very happy with the food and service. We are going to meet friends tonight and expect the same quality service and friendly wait staff. Their coconut shrimp is to die for and excellent chicken tenders.
