Captain Ron's is Fort Wayne's version of Cheers where everybody knows your name. Captain Ron is amazing and the steaks are even better!

Always love going to Ron's! Good price for quality and quantity. Hardest decision to make is what flavor homemade cheesecake for dessert!

The worst "steak" dinner I've ever had. Atmosphere was terrible, the food even worse. Let's start with the salad..cheap, shredded lettuce, a bit of cheese and about five diced tomatoes. My 8oz. $12 "ribeye" had no taste and was textured like processed, cheap meat. You could cut it with a plastic knife, if you wanted. A1 sauce was a cheap tasting knock off, served in a side bowl, to disguise it. I ordered a Captain Morgan and coke...it was NOT captain, but a cheap bottom well rum of some sort. The server tried to convince me otherwise. We should have taken it as a sign of what was to come when we pulled into the empty parking lot and we were the only people in there on a saturday night at 6pm. NOT going back. Just gross!

First off when I order salad and got it after my meal ,generic steaksauce,service was terrible.captain ron is a cheap -ss wont be spending my money there again

Manager /owner ? Is the rudest most aragant person in this business I have ever come across! Staff is very pleasant and do theier jobs well except the hair not being tied back and in their faces and hanging over the food being served. the wait time for your food is rediculous . Salt pepper and steak sauce should be left on tables to save extra trips for staff and would speed things up for them plus it would help the bare looking tables. the food is good considering what you have to go through to get it.This guy is not going to go out of his way to please his customers . Girls pull your hair back and get rid of the chewing gum and our tips will be better ! Manager if you want to stay open you better get some people skills . this review is for Maplecrest Rd.

Went Super Bowl Sunday. They had ran out of the $5.99 strip dinner, so i got the 10 oz filet instead (for leftovers). And it was amazing!!! The char on it was delish and it was grilled to perfection! We will most certainly be back!!! So glad to see a nice restaurant/ bar open on this side of town!!!

My comment..
Upon arriving at the Maplecrest location tonight. There was no greeter at the door. Seems we had to be seat which we were after 10 minutes the greeter showed up and took our name.
We were seated and the waitress took our drink order, came back after a while with our drinks. We ordered at that time.
Our food was served in a timely manner, cooked the way we ordered it. While eating my girlfriend pulled out a tooth pick from her steak. The server took it back to the kitchen and I saw her talking to the cook and he just shrugged his shoulders (like so a what). The waitress came back and said the kitchen was supposed to take out but it didn’t happen. OK it happens.
Later she came back and she talk to the manager and he said she was supposed to tell use of the toothpick (that didn’t happen either) and said the manager would be over to talk to use.
We finished our meal and still no manager. On the way out I found him tending bar. I stopped and told him “thanks for caring about us. He took it as a compliment and said “thank-you”. It was not meant as a compliment.
Will think twice about going back.
