Café Climb offers disadvantaged youth the opportunity to learn marketable employment skills in the culinary field as a first step to earning a living wage and beginning a sustainable career path in one of the Gulf Coast’s largest industries. The Cafe serves traditional and creative Gulf Coast dishes.
Students receive individualized assistance in setting and pursuing career and personal goals, prepare for their GED, and learn employment and life skills. They also receive on-the-job training at the Café working in the kitchen, serving food to customers and preparing and serving food at catered events. Community service projects are also an important part of the learning program. Graduates have the options of pursuing employment, college education, advanced training or military service.
Café Climb is a social enterprise that supports its program by generating a portion of its funding from the Café, catering, contract food services, and other food-related activities. Café Climb is a program of the Workforce Training Institute, which is sponsored by CLIMB CDC, a locally governed nonprofit agency and Mississippi charity.

First time to Café Climb! Was very impressed. The food was delish!!!! The people there were very friendly and helpful. Love the overall program of helping kids to have a better life! Will go there again! I had the Roast beef... Yummy!!!!
