EVERYONE WHO WROTE A REVIEW WORKS THERE!! I WORK RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER I HAVE EATEN THERE 4 TIMES. EVERY TIME YOU ORDER THEY EITHER DON'T HAVE WHAT YOU WANT OR IF THEY DO THEY SCREW UP THE ORDER. I GUESS I'M THE IDIOT FOR GOING BACK THAT MANY TIMES BUT NEVER THE LESS THEY WILL BE CLOSED BY END OF SUMMER!!!!!!

Used to eat here when it was on NB Ave., and now they've moved to Weston Street but the food is even better! My favorite are the hot wings -- they just don't get any better!!! Hot, spicy, huge wings, just the right flavor. The chili cheeseburger and cajun fries are out of this world and we even tried the fried okra with pesto sauce -- they were awesome!!! The new restaurant has a very nice ambience, clean, plenty of room, it's just great. WE WILL GO BACK MANY MORE TIMES!!!

This is going to be the realest review you're ever going to read. First, I would like to say that The Spot Eatery is a good place to eat; good food, unique menu selections. But, where they lack in being a top food place in Hartford is their prep time. I would highly recommend never going there and placing an order if you're starving. Make sure you call in advance. Lastly, their customer service needs to be improved a lot.

The spot is an amazing eatery there food and service are out of this world every time i go they get my order perfect there bacon cheese burger is amazing with some Latin fries on the side or there egg omelet with bacon and toast with home fries I'd recommend this amazing restaurant to everyone

This is how burgers should be done! I love the Spot. I usually get the Spot Burger and the sweet potato fries. I don't do burgers much but when I do I hit the Spot. The place can get crowded and although it's clean and bright, it does not rate any stars for ambiance. It's about the burgers. I usually have food delivered to my office or get it to go.

These people think that spices should be poured on with such a heavy hand that I could not taste the food underneath. I had lemon-pepper fries; they had enough lemon-pepper mix on my one order to season 10 orders. My jerk burger had enough sauce and anise seed to season 8 burgers - and why anise? And the sauce tasted like HP sauce, and not a good jerk seasoning which should be salty and sweet and spicy hot -- there was no hot and almost no saltiness.
The one thing we had which was quite good where the sweet potato fries.
They're trying -- but they are not succeeding.

Service is back up and it look's like they're trying real hard to be better.
They've restarted delivery again, sp they're busy all the time.

The Spot is an excellent place to go to if you want great service and delicious food. I always stop by and grab something to eat there before I head out to work because the food is filling and gives me the energy I need to work my shift.

Very inconsistent, after trying several times in last few months, we’ll look for another burger and hot dog spot.
