Uh stopped in there one time was going to have breakfast.. Some guy that came out of a van and a wheelchair came inside where I was waiting to get a tabke..or even acknowledged...this male about ran me over with his wheelchair. Went right ahead of me ...the staff..nobody for that matter said anything about it. Nobody helped me so I left. My neighbor told me that it's like a little clicky...little cafe and they weren't very nice if you're not a regular there..

The food is great and the soups are top of the line! Many different varieties all week long and all have been great! We have not be disappointed anytime we've been in. Thank You Blue Plate

The food is really really good & the majority of it, even the buns for their lunchtime items, is all made right there. The staff are friendly but it is extremely busy in there so they are always running ;-) The atmosphere is not different than other cafe's in that it's cutely decorated, small, compact, noisy but not from annoying music or anything, just lots of conversations going on in a small-ish place. It is well worth it to eat at the Blue Plate though, you just can't find the kind of homecooking/baking they do there very many places anymore!
