They have the best fried chicken and on Sunday Buffet it is truly amazing what all the choices are but if you like fried chicken you are missing out till you try it. They catered my son's wedding and my mom's 80th birthday party and my brother that lives in Wisconsin still talks about it after 10 years!!

Awesome little home-styled restaurant. The food is always great. I did the Chicken Run Bicycle Ride last year and they made the bikers cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then for lunch was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans with a roll. Great food. Keep the Chicken Run Ride going!!!

Very good home style cooking! The food just melts in your mouth literally. Goes for the fried chicken, mash potatoes, green beans, cream corn, ham, bread, pies, etc. You could go down the list, the food is excellent.
They also do a very good job with catering. While at the Wheatland Cafe the service is very pleasant and I have to admit, they have some attractive waitresses there. :D
Very much worth the drive to Hudson, Kansas for the food and hospitality.
