Awesome little home-styled restaurant. The food is always great. I did the Chicken Run Bicycle Ride last year and they made the bikers cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then for lunch was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans with a roll. Great food. Keep the Chicken Run Ride going!!!

Went there today for lunch, and all I can say is "Amazing!!!!!" Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. A great value in an unexpected location.

Very good home style cooking! The food just melts in your mouth literally. Goes for the fried chicken, mash potatoes, green beans, cream corn, ham, bread, pies, etc. You could go down the list, the food is excellent.
They also do a very good job with catering. While at the Wheatland Cafe the service is very pleasant and I have to admit, they have some attractive waitresses there. :D
Very much worth the drive to Hudson, Kansas for the food and hospitality.
