Moma's house is home cooking. I taste the love that goes into the food that keeps people comin back for more. This is really good home cooking. When my husband and I want to take a break and go for real home cookin this is the place.

Whoever prepare the Dressing on 09/05/2010. Didn't do a good job.It was terrible and I tell you why it was mushy no favor ,where is the celery and onion. Whoever fix it before need to continue fixing the Dressing Please.

Well let me tell you the food was excellent. When i went in the staff was very professional. After talking with the waitress's i learned it was a family owned business.There was absolutely no flirting. They are very kind and generous people.

The Fried Chicken was not done had to go back and ask for another order, upon arrival the waitress acted as if I was lying after she to looked at the blood! The staff very unprofessional, young ladies flirting with the young men and having personal conversations on the phone that was not appropriate for any business atmosphere.

While I don't have the qualifications to be a critic of soul food. I can tell you Mama's house has some of the best tenderloins in Kansas City. The food is great and very reasonably priced with hefty servings.
