Have had nothing but great food/drinks and excellent service. Have never seen the wait staff with an attitude as suggested by other reviews. We live in Maine and go there frequently...we do not know the owners or staff, but just really like it.

Overpriced food, incompetent wait-staff, nasty management and angry owner, who says,"The customer isn't always right!!"

Visited this outdoor eatery the week of July 25, 2010, and found management and owners to be more interested in a dollar than in running a decent business. When we told our waitress a lobster bisque appetizer tasted "fishy" (strong and fishy for lobster), her first comment was "we can't take it off your bill." Not that we'd asked. Our party was polite, but asked for a manager who approached us with bad attitude and acted the same way, asking why we'd order lobster bisque if we didn't like fish. Shouldn't she know the difference between lobster and fish? She didn't offer to take back or substitute something for the bad food, but instead said she couldn't cancel our orders once they were placed, and that she would call the police if we left before the orders--unfilled-- were paid for. Now that our appetites were gone, 3 of our party of 4 left the table while one waited for the check. Instead of a check coming, the police did--who sided with the barmaid/owner saying we had to pay for food (which we couldn't eat) or be charged with "theft of services." Rather than wait for a court date, we paid close to 100 dollars for meals we couldn't eat. Isn't part of a restaurant's service providing a comfortable place to eat, as well providing "food?" We found neither at a place called Frills. Please don't support this kind of business.

I seriously think that first reviewer was writing about the wrong place. We LOVED it! Had lunch here with an old friend from college and we gabbed for 3 hours! The server was attentive and friendly and didn't seem to mind our 'camping'. The food was FANTASTIC. I had the Caprese Sandwich on ciabatta bread. We also had a couple cocktails - not only were they delicious (Route 1 Lemonade was delish!) , but SO CHEAP! (If you go to other restaurants in Ogunquit, you will notice the price difference, believe me!) The atmosphere is cozy and away from the busy Shore Road foot traffic. At night they light chimineas and turn on heat lamps to keep it warm and inviting. Love this cute li'l place. The incredible food and cheap drinks will keep me coming back!

Food was not that great, menu not family oriented, expensive and the restaurant manager was very rude. Definitely not on the list of places to go back to.
