Terrible grill cook, been same for past few years. She is awful. Burger came out with cheese on bottom bun ?!? Toppings slid off my burger by the time it arrived at table. A slimy tomato, lettuce didn’t fit the burger, huge onion, ( we want a taste, not the garden). The cook looks like she lives beneath a bridge. Rest of staff seemed to just scurry to whatever they could do to please bridge person. Cutoffs in a restaurant costing that much is a No no to me.
What happened to the old crew who’d treat you good and prepare your food perfectly? I’ve gotta say, I won’t be back again if the current cook remains there. Very dissatisfied overall. Our bun wasn’t even toasted.

This is truly the diner from racist hell. Waited over an hour for our food. The food came out cold. We told our waiter about this and a female cook came out from the grill area and started yelling at us. She took my roast beef (Manhattan) and mashed potatoes to microwave it. A microwaved Manhattan tastes gross. My son’s burger and fries were cold. They brought my sons burger back microwaved with a big thumb print on it. See pic. This woman was very racist in my opinion. The waiter was nice. The lady that checked us out apologized for the grill cooks behavior. She said the other employees have to put up with her all day. My opinion is to stay as far away from this restaurant as you can. Especially if you are a minority. This is a disabled veteran will never return. My wife was the only person of color in the restaurant. Others were served promptly. No one else was yelled at by the grill cook. Only us.

I hade lunch at the Dairy Bar today for old time sake. I grew up loving my trips there for twinkle cones. I now live in Washington DC and dearly miss this great old fashion place. I had the Friday fish special and it was great. Service super, a lovely experience just as I remembered.

Not only so they have great desserts they have burgers and salads. The food and service is wonderful. Great hometown place.
