I am a Door Dash driver and there was an issue with an order I was fulfilling and the manager did not handle the situation properly. When I arrived for the order the manager refused to give me the full order the customer placed.
This is what the manager explained. "In order to partner with Door Dash, we would have to get a Samsung tablet but we didn't want to so we went with the second option of having an automated message system call them to place the order after the customer submits it through door dash. When we received the call my employee who answered it did not write down the full order."

Because of this they only had 3/5 items ready. Even after I showed her everything on the list that the customer ordered she refused to fulfill the rest order. I spent 25 minutes of my time talking with the manager and with Door Dash support. There was no way for me or the customer to cancel the order so I was left with no choice but to take the customer half of her order and risk getting a negative rating. I was just trying to do my job. I missed other order opportunities because of her. I am so disappointed in the way this manager handled this situation and for expecting me and the customer to pay for her employee's mistake.
