I called and reserved a table for a party for 24 two weeks prior to our Friday, October 16th, 2015 party only to get there and find out there was only (1) waitress to take care of (not only us) but the "whole" restaurant/bar. Not to say anything bad about her (Rose) because she is probably the best thing about Ziggy's! I was embarrassed and very disappointed that my monthly dinner club friends were not taken care of like other professional dining facilities we've visited. When the (1) waitress finally called for help, 30 minutes later in strolls the managers daughter who was aggravated and very unapologetic! I can promise you one thing, the 24 people in our club will never grace that facility again and will talk to everyone we know about how they run their business. The people who manager Ziggy's in Broussard need to take managerial lessons on professionalism and it wouldn't hurt to pass that on to their daughter!.

Ate there today and the service was awful. Waitress took our order never saw her again till the bill arrived had to get up and get my own utensils never came back to ask anything about more drinks. Someone else brought our order to us and never asked if we needed anything and did not bring utensils either. I will say the food was good

We were regulars, last visit put the end to ever eating here again. You get the feeling that they could care a less if you come in or not. Ordered large gumbo, only thing large about it was the bowl, less then half full, no meat to speak of at all, embarrising! Thanks for limiting our options of dinning. I see new buildings coming up, may be someone will aprriciate our buisness.

I've found Ziggy's to be a great place to meet clientele with a friendly host of characters that either work there or have been coming there for years. Ziggy's has transitioned, with new owners and management, into one of the top rated restaraunts in the local industry. Smokin Joe serves up his talent weekly with what is, arguably, the best known Bar-B-Q in Lafayette. Just ask anyone.

I have eaten at Ziggy's many times. I have never been disappointed. It is always better to eat at the restaurant but my husband and I have take out every couple of weeks. Love the crab cakes and the spicy shrimp appetizer. Great burgers and shrimp po-boys. The corn and crab bisque is always a great choice. So happy to have Ziggy's very near!

If I saw a roach crawling on my food, needless to say I would not pay for it nor would I continue with my meal!

I really love Ziggy's, the staff is wonderful and very friendly. The food is awesome, I have tried many of the things on the menu and have always been happy with the food. Sometimes it is slow getting your food, but when we go we are not in a hurry, we always have a drink and visit so it really is nice to have that time to talk with my husband and or friends. The only thing I would like is for them to deliver, cause I am sick and at home alone and hungry for ZIGGY'S... Guess I will have to go pick up or go eat and hide in a corner...

I absolutely love going to Ziggys. Everything I've ever ordered there has been fantastic. They have a wide variety of choices ranging from delicious burgers and shrimp poboys to healthier options like grilled chicken salads. Don't go to Ziggys without trying their eggplant fries... DELICIOUS! As mentioned below, make sure you beat the lunch crowd.

WOW that other review was harsh... I have been to Ziggys many times (about once every week or so, since they opened) my only complaint is that it takes a while to get a seat at noon, because of the MANY people who are there. (I guess they dont agree with the other review LOL)When they first opened, there were many times that they were full to capacity and could not seat anyone, then they expanded and can seat lots more. The food is great, the waitresses do seem to come and go....Ive seen many new faces... The prices are reasonable, and the atmoshpere is loud due to the TVs and conversations. The employees all seem to be working very hard, and have always been nice to us no matter the situation.

I gave this establishment my business two times, and it was definitely two times too many! First time was for lunch. I picked up lunch for the office and ordered a "grilled shrimp Caesar salad". The shrimp were tiny shrimp that were boiled in crab boil. This may be tasty in some dishes, but definitely not on a Caesar salad. Plus they put them, still wet from the water onto the salad and on top of the croutons, which made them mushy. To top it off they didn't put the dressing on the salad...a Caesar salad without Casar dressing..or any dressing for that matter.
The second time I visited the establishment was in the evening. We had gone to have a few drinks and dinner. After taking 20 minutes to get our drinks (we were only 1 of 2 tables in the place) we decided to order an appetizer. Into our appetizer we noticed a roach crawling on our food. The waitress said she would bring another one, and did. I would just have rathered that she credited the bad one, but that wasn't an option offered. She then kept rushing us to order our dinner. We had wanted to relax and enjoy a few drinks before dinner. After the 10th time of asking us to order (all within a 1/2 hour time frame) we decided to order. We each ordered a burger. My husband ordered his with everything added to it. It came to the table with nothing on it. When this was brought to the waitresses attention, she developed an attitude and grabbed the plate and took it to the kitchen. We then could hear the kitchen staff say "WHAT'S WRONG NOW???". The plate was quickly returned (literally less than 1 minute later) with what appeared to be "canned" mushrooms (the entire can) dumped on the burger..cold, not warmed along with onions, barbecue sauce and about 30 jalapenos on top. I then noticed the whole staff, the bartender (which was in the kitchen as they "fixed" his burger) along with the kitchen staff, just staring at my husband...they kept watching. I got the distinct impression that they added more than food to his hamburger and they were waiting for the sick pleasure of watching him eat it. I can't say for sure that that is what was happening, but it surely looked suspicious.
Needless to say, we will NEVER give them our business again!!!
