Going and get something to eat at Mom and Pop’s tonight.Can’t way cause they have AWESOME FOOD there. Just LOVE their cheese burgers… And their tartar sauce is the BOMB..

I've had the fried shrimp and fried chicken and I thought it was pretty good. However, I went in one day fairly recently and got the smothered chicken plate lunch and it was down right horrible. The rice was way over cooked and rather mushy, the gravy tasted as though it came out of a jar or package, and the smothered chicken itself was not on par by any means. To start off the visit as I placed my order the waitress stood there at the counter with her phone right in front of her at the register and it was going off with obvious incoming text messages. I felt that was a distraction rather rude as she certainly was not paying attention to the customer. I watched her take orders from 3 other customers after me and I couldn't take it anymore and told her that it was time for her to remove the phone from the top of the counter and turn it off or place it in another area in the back as it was totally unprofessional to be taking peoples orders and standing there reading and laughing about her incoming texts. Very rude and unprofessional.

They have pretty good hamburgers and fries! Best burgers in Carencro. They are very fast! Call in orders for convenience and they usually say "10 minutes". They also have really good corn nuggets and shrimp poboys!
