hello from shiny Helsinki SUOMI FINLAND,

We visited Your resataurant several times back in 1986 early spring. We, Davy my boss and our mechanic never eated anything but we had beers and SPECIALLY one drink I remember the rest of my life. THE RUM BUCKET! Nice looking and well serving young lady bartender was once serving us and I asked her to write down the recipe what she kindly did.I tried to mix it here in FINLAND but I did not succeed to get exatly the same as the sweet and sour mixture is not exatly the same that you can buy from the States.

One question though. Do You still have it in Your list?

Yours truly,
apkuikkka@gmail.com

OMG !! Do not make the mistake of wandering in here.
This is the worst restaurant we have ever been to. Dirty, crap service, frozen tiny bulk fish, priced like the ritz. Gortons does better !! Dont wonder why no one is here on Sun. afternoon... THEY ALREADY KNOW. The owner( you will hear him cough on your food) tosses his butts right outside the door, mere feet from the ocean !! This dive must be a front for other types of business.READ ALL THE REVIEWS AT ALL SITES before you try this little gem. Just dont be fooled by the owner written reviews ( most on same day by cell phone) shame on the anglers folley !!!

Sad!!!!!!!!!! The food was not fresh, service was terrible. Nothing like the "Fish Market" was.
Very expensive for the quality of the food. "Long John Silver" 10 times better. Would never recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!

This place was sooooooo horrible. We thought it looked cute for dinner near the water. It has a nice looking menu and high priced entrees. It's dirty and old inside and you get like paper napkins and to walk all the way upstairs to a grimey bathroom. The waiter ignored us almost the entire time and was rude, we seriously wanted to leave without paying but didn't. The soda was completely devoid of flavor, and iit took a lot of bugging to get something else. The food was probably the worst food I have ever gotten in a restaurant, EVER. the fish was like frozen, microwaved dinner white fish and the vegetable side was a bunch of boiled PEPPERS and shaved old carrots. not the normal broccoli or pototos, but peppers. like from a 99 cent freezer bag. the soup was okay but COLD. it was a freezing day and they had the door wide open and we kept asking to close it and they said they couldn't it was broken or something. then the huge bill came and it was wrong and had some other table's drinks and stuff on it. we still laugh about that meal to this day and now when we make a mistake call it an "Angler's Folly."

On Sunday, August 5, 2007 I stopped in Angler's to get a bite to eat with my family. What a disaster. The service was horrible (waited more than 45 minutes just to get drinks and bread), not enough food, and to top it off the manager (or owner) was cursing at him employees. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
